Albuquerque, N.M. – The New Mexico Activities Association and New Mexico Activities Association Foundation have each pledged $1,250 to the University Interscholastic League to help with ongoing Hurricane Harvey relief efforts in Texas.  The University Interscholastic League is the state’s governing body for high school athletics.

The devastating storm caused severe damage to over 300 high schools across Texas.  The state association offices in Arkansas, Colorado, and Oklahoma will also be providing $2,500 to the UIL to support the many schools and students affected by this tragedy.

New Mexico, Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Colorado make up what is recognized as Section 6 within the National Federation of State High School Associations.  The UIL will be presented with a $10,000 check from their counterparts later this week during the NFHS’ Annual Section 6 Meetings to be held in Denver.

In addition to financial support, and in conjunction with the New Mexico Activities Association & NMAA Foundation, Graphic Connection has pledged 15 boxes of apparel from the 2016-2017 NMAA State Championship season to the relief efforts.
