APS Spring Invitational

Tuesday might be the first day of spring, but Monday temperatures felt like the dead of winter.  On a cold and windy course, the La Cueva boys and girls golf teams swept the APS Spring Invitational at the Arroyo Del Oso Golf Course in Albuquerque.

Albuquerque High’s Derek Chavez took home medalist honors after shooting a 79.  Sandia’s Sophia Zamarripa and La Cueva’s Eleanna Carris both posted 84 for the girls low score.
