FUDDRUCKERS PRESENTS EVERYBODY HAS A STORY: CHEVEL SHEPHERD, NEVER GIVE UP
Farmington’s Chevel Shepherd started singing when she was 2 years old. She made her first radio appearance at the age of 8 and made her first mini CD at the age of 9. By the age of 16, her whole world changed. The New Mexico teen was voted the winner on the NBC show The Voice. Since winning the singing competition, she has concerts lined up with Kelly Clarkson, plans to cut her first album as well as juggling multiple requests for appearances, photos and autographs. It’s a lot to take in for a teenager, but Chevel handles it well.
We recently caught up with the winner of The Voice to discuss her future plans and look back on how she got here.
