KASHON HARRISON DECIDES ON COLORADO
The top boys cross country runner in New Mexico is heading north to continue his career. On Monday, Kashon Harrison signed a National Letter of Intent to run for Colorado University. The Kirtland Central senior is a two-time state champion in cross country and was also named the Gatorade New Mexico Cross Country Runner of the Year in back-to-back seasons. Harrison won the Foot Locker West Regional championships for a second straight year, then earned All-American status by finishing 11th at the FLCCC. He also took fifth at the Nike Cross Nationals Southwest Regional championships.
Harrison chose Colorado over Oregon, Oklahoma, Northern Arizona and Syracuse.
