Seeding and selection for 3A-6A State Football Championships will take place Saturday, November 2nd. Coaches Input Forms and the District Placement Forms must be submitted no later than 4:30 p.m. in order to be included.

WINTER RULES CLINICS ONLINE STARTING NOVEMBER 1
Online winter rules clinics will be available November 1-15, 2019 on each sport landing page at www.nmact.org. Rules clinic attendance is mandatory for all head coaches during their sport season. This year, ALL Basketball Rules Clinics will be In-Person. A list of dates, locations in your area and times are listed below.

POSTING ASSISTANT COACHES ON MAXPREPS
Athletic Directors and Head Coaches, the NMAA has created a video explaining the process for entering in your assistant coaches on MaxPreps. It is important that your assistant coaches are entered in this specific area on MaxPreps. The NMAA uses this information to grant assistant coaches into State events. If they are not listed in the proper place they will not be given access to the State event. For more information, please contact Tyler Dunkel at tyler@nmact.org.

ELECTIONS FOR NMAA BOARD AND COMMISSION POSITIONS
Ballots have been posted and emailed for positions on the NMAA Board of Directors and the NMAA Commission. The appropriate forms are available on the NMAA Home Page, on the Board of Directors page and on the Commission page. Please contact Dusty Young at dusty@nmact.org with any questions about the election process. Ballots are due by 4 p.m. on Thursday, October 31st

The NMAA, along with MaxPreps has created a series of three videos to help Athletic Directors and Coaches set up accounts, give access to schools or teams and enter rosters and schedules. COMPETE WITH CLASS SCHOLARSHIP
The New Mexico Activities Association, in conjunction with the NMAA Foundation, will be awarding a maximum of eight (8) $1,000 Compete with Class scholarships during the 2019-2020 school year. Awards will be given to students that best exemplify the three pillars of the Compete with Class sportsmanship initiative – Respect, Integrity, and Responsibility. Recipients will be selected by the NMAA Foundation Board of Directors based on recommendations from the NMAA and its member schools.
