HOBBS EAGLES ADAPT TO A SEASON WITHOUT WISDOM ANTHONY

The Hobbs girls basketball team has reached the final each of the last four years.  Getting back there this season will be tough without Wisdom Anthony, one of the top players in the state, who suffered a torn ACL at practice this season.  J.P. Murrieta had the opportunity to speak with head coach Joe Carpenter and talk about this year’s squad.

The Hobbs Eagles reached the final of the tournament up at the Al Armendariz Tournament at Capital High School last week, but lost in the championship to Gallup.
