BASKETBALL TEAM PHOTOS & ROSTERS
Basketball team photos need to be uploaded on Max Preps by Friday, February 17th or a fine of $100 will be assessed. If you need help with your photos, contact Tyler at [email protected]. Team rosters need to be trimmed to no more than 14 players prior to the District Tournament. Your “team” during the District and State Tournament may consist of no more than 20 people which include coaches, managers, statisticians, etc.

SPRING RULES CLINICS ONLINE STARTING FEBRUARY 1
Online spring rules clinics will be available February 1-15, 2023 on each sport landing page at www.nmact.org. Rules clinic attendance is mandatory for all head coaches during their sport season.
STATE SPIRIT REGISTRATION

The New Mexico Officials Association is looking for enthusiastic people that want to make an impact on the high school and middle school youth in our State by becoming a sports official. NMAA STUDENT LEADERSHIP ADVISORY COUNCIL NOMINATIONS
The NMAA is looking for students to serve on our Student-Leadership Advisory Council for the following areas in the NMAA’s governance structure for the 2023-2024 school year:

DRAGONFLY & MAXPREPS SCHEDULE CHECK
Athletic Directors, please go into your DragonFly and MaxPreps accounts and make sure that your baseball, basketball, softball, swimming, tennis, track & field and wrestling schedules match. It is extremely important for scheduling officials, seeding & selection and MaxPreps rankings. Also make sure those schedules match any schedule posted on your school website.

COMPETE WITH CLASS SCHOLARSHIP
The New Mexico Activities Association, in conjunction with the NMAA Foundation, will be awarding a maximum of eight (8) $1,000 Compete with Class scholarships during the 2022-2023 school year. Awards will be given to students that best exemplify the three pillars of the Compete with Class sportsmanship initiative – Respect, Integrity, and Responsibility. Recipients will be selected by the NMAA Foundation Board of Directors based on recommendations from the NMAA and its member schools.
