NMAA FOUNDATION RAISES MONEY FOR SCHOLARSHIPS

Monday at the Tanoan Country Club in Albuquerque, the NMAA Foundation held their annual Golf Classic to raise scholarship money for New Mexico students. “This event is our largest fundraiser for the NMAA Foundation, and we should generate over $20,000,” said NMAA Associate Director Dusty Young.  “All of that money goes directly back to the students of New Mexico either through student scholarships or through grants to fund athletic and activity programs across the state.”

The NMAA Foundation awarded over $50,000 in scholarships and $15,000 in grants last year.  The NMAA greatly appreciates the support of those who took part and helped with the event.
