DION’S STUDENT SPOTLIGHT: RAYFORD FULKERSON, GATEWAY CHRISTIAN

Each month, we will spotlight a student from New Mexico who is involved in various athletics and/or activities.  Here’s a look at this month’s Dion’s Student Spotlight.

On the football field, he plays wide receiver and safety and helped his team reach the state final this past fall.  This winter you can find him on the basketball court; and in the spring, he is the second baseman, shortstop, and pitcher for the Warriors.  “I enjoy being involved at school to build character, memories, and friends,” said the high school junior.  “There’s not a better use of your time.”

He believes in treating your opponent with respect.  “You need to remember the people you are playing against have feelings too and might be going through their own stuff,” he said. “Make sure you treat others the way you would like to be treated.”
