Eldorado Junior Puts Up A Top-10 Scoring Performance

Eldorado High School sharpshooting guard Bella Hines put up a big number over the holiday break.  The junior scored 53 points in a 59-46 win over Rio Rancho on December 23, 2023.  The 53 points breaks a school record that has stood since 1988.  Hines was 17-34 shooting on the game, including 9-19 from three-point range.  Hines added eight rebounds, two assists, and two steals for the Eagles.  Her 53-point performance puts her in the top-10 of all-time scoring outputs in a single game (tied for 10th with Becky Berridge of Hatch Valley and Melanie Maynes of Deming).  The single-game scoring record is 64 points by Jordyn Lewis of Ramah back in 2015.
