DION’S STUDENT SPOTLIGHT: MYLES BROWN NORDSTRUM, SANTA FE PREP
Each month, we will spotlight a student from New Mexico who is involved in various athletics and/or activities. Here’s a look at this month’s Dion’s Student Spotlight.
He’s as comfortable in the pool as he is on stage. He’s been swimming and performing since he was a little kid. When he reached the 9th grade, he was able to participate in his school’s fall play and he’s been doing it every year since. He’s also been a part of a state championship swimming program. “It’s fun to act on stage, but I also love to swim because of the community at our school,” he said. As a 9th grader, he also discovered how much he enjoys throwing the shot and discus with the track and field team each spring. He encourages every high schooler to get involved because “there are lots of different fits for a person.”
