NFHS Hall of Famer Notah Begay III Announces His National Tournament Return To Santa Ana Pueblo
New Mexico native and NFHS Hall of Famer Notah Begay III is bringing back his Notah Begay III Junior Golf New Mexico Regional Championship, Presented by R1 New Mexico, to Twin Warriors Golf Club at Santa Ana Pueblo in 2025. The event will be played Monday July 29th & Tuesday July 30th. Some of the top players from the Four Corners region and West Texas area will compete in different age groups to be crowned the New Mexico Champion. A total of 4 boys and 4 girls will advance from the regional and will compete in the Notah Begay III National Championship Presented by R1 New Mexico in November, the championship event will be televised on Golf Channel. “R1 New Mexico is a pillar of the community and it’s truly an honor to have their support as we expose more boys and girls to the game of golf”, said Begay. “Community buy-in and corporate support are key factors in providing successful youth programs. I’m proud to stand alongside the R1 brand as we work to create healthy activities that positively impact our children.”

The Notah Begay III Junior Golf National Championship is in its third year and aims to grow the game of golf by providing a platform for players to compete against the best juniors in the Country in a true, open qualifying series. The National Championship will be televised on Golf Channel in prime. The Notah Begay III Junior Golf National Championship is open to boys and girls ages 10-18 who will compete in one of the age categories: Boys 16-18; Boys 14-15; Boys 12-13 & Boys 10-11; Girls 16-18; Girls 14-15; Girls 12-13 and Girls 10-11.
