DION’S STUDENT SPOTLIGHT: AIDEN DUNNAHOO, HAGERMAN HIGH SCHOOL
Each month, we will spotlight a student from New Mexico who is involved in various athletics and/or activities. Here’s a look at this month’s Dion’s Student Spotlight. He is a senior who is involved in “everything my school has to offer.” He participates in football, basketball, track and field, BPA, FFA, “pretty much everything I can except for cross country,” he jokes. “I like running in some sports, just not three miles,” he explained. He loves football, but says track is his favorite because he excels at it. He throws shot put and discus each spring. He comes from a family of throwers. “My uncle (Robert Dunnahoo) holds the school record in shot put and I’m trying to beat the record this year.” He enjoys being involved because he makes a lot of friends and says it makes him a better person. As a team captain he encourages others to “Take responsibility, do the right thing, and be a good person.” Ultimately, he says he wants everyone to try and be happy. Meet Aiden Dunnahoo from Hagerman High School.
