NEW MEXICO OFFICIAL EARNS NATIONAL HONOR

New Mexico official Andrew Robertson was selected as the NFHS Official’s Association Active Official of the Year for Section 6.  The Section 6 region includes the states of Arkansas, Colorado, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas.  Robertson was selected by a national committee for excellent service as an official and for exemplifying the highest standards of ethical conduct and moral character.

Robertson is a soccer official in New Mexico and has been a member of the New Mexico Officials Association for 28 years. “We are honored to have Andrew Robertson selected as the Section 6 Active Official of the Year and he is truly worthy of this recognition,” said NMAA Commisioner of Officials Carl Vigil.  “We are thankful for his service to the student athletes of New Mexico.”

“His contribution to high school athletics is truly deserving of our recognition and appreciation,” said NFHS Director of Officiating Services Dana Pappas.
