DION’S STUDENT SPOTLIGHT: TEVYN ANDERSON, PIEDRA VISTA HIGH SCHOOL
Each month, we will spotlight a student from New Mexico who is involved in various athletics and/or activities. Here’s a look at this month’s Dion’s Student Spotlight. She is a senior at Piedra Vista High School who is a cheerleader at the school and she competes in tennis in the spring. Along with her athletic endeavors, she is also the student body president. She says she would like to pursue cheer at the collegiate level, but is passionate about all of her activities. After high school, she wants to get a degree in kinesiology and get a doctorate in occupational therapy. “I’ve always been interested in kids and want to figure out ways to help kids and get them better,” she said. “I had occupational therapy as a kid and became interested in it from there.” As a senior, she encourages others to get involved at school. “Being involved in high school has helped me get direction and motivation of what I want my life to look like in the future,” she said. Meet Tevyn Anderson from Piedra Vista High School.
