SOFTBALL PLAYER HITS 4 HOME RUNS IN ONE GAME

Rio Rancho High School’S Aleah Alvarado had a record day at the plate this week. On Tuesday in a 19-11 win against Volcano Vista, the senior went 5-for-6 at the plate with 9 RBI’s and four home runs!  She is the 3rd softball player in New Mexico history to hit 4 home runs in a single game.  Jaelynn Vialpando of Atrisco Heritage was the first to accomplish the feat in 2017, and Sarai Morales of Roswell also hit four home runs in a game in 2023.
