SPEECH & DEBATE

ABOUT SPEECH AND DEBATE

Competitive Forensics or competing in Speech and Debate helps students develop a sense of poise and confidence when speaking in front of an audience. We compete in 12 different events that span the areas of debate, public speaking, and interpretation. These events help improve a student’s skills in research, analysis, critical reading, thinking and writing, organization, creativity and analysis and interpretation of literature.
